Required percentage of marks and subject qualification for filling up Preliminary Application Form for Honours Course :

• A minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.
• 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination and 45% in the aggregate.
• Candidates belonging to the SC/ST community willing to take up Honours must have a minimum of 40% marks both in aggregate and in the subject or related subject in H.S. or equivalent examination (as per C.U. rules).
• Candidates who passed (10+ 2) Examinations or equivalent in 2010 and onwards are eligible to seek admission to First Year B. Com. Course provided he has also passed in English having full marks not being less than 100.
• Aggregate marks shall be calculated by adding the marks in Top Four Subjects in order of marks secured by a candidate. However, marks in compulsory Environmental Education / Studies shall not be taken into account.

For General Courses :

• Candidates who passed ( 10 + 2) Examination or equivalent examination in2010 and onwards are eligible to fill up the Preliminary Forms provided he has passed in English having full marks not being less than 100.
• Filled in Preliminary Application Form to First Year B.Com. Honours and General Courses will be issued from the College Office at the cost of Rs. 70/- ( Rupees Seventy only) from 06.06.2013 to 14.06.2013except Saturday between 4.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m.
• Filled in Preliminary Application Forms should be submitted within two days from the date of issue of the form between 3.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m.

Same procedure will be followed in case of On-Line Preliminary Forms.

Merit list will be published on 25.06.2013 at 5.00 p.m. on the College Notice Board.
